The time has come to start getting ready for The Lowell Food and Wine Festival, which will be held Thursday September 8th to Sunday September 11th. This three day festival will host over 6000 attendees in Historic Downtown Lowell, offering a variety of food and drink made by some of the most talented local chefs, and tickets are on sale now!
The Opening Reception on Thursday September 8th from 7:30-10:30 at Gallagher and Cavanaugh, 22 Shattuck St. will kick off the festival, followed by Friday’s events including Food Truck Madness from 6-9:30pm at Kerouac Park, 86 Bridge Street, followed by American Grand Cru Tasting at Rialto Plaza in Historic Downtown Lowell from 8-9:30pm, and Taco & Tequila from 9:30-11pm at the UMass Inn and Conference Center, 50 Warren St.
The events on Saturday begin at 2pm with The Grand Tasting in Historic Downtown Lowell featuring over 60 different wines and more than 50 craft beers, with pairing food from local chefs and restaurants. The Lowell Chopped Competition will be held from 4-5:30pm at Derby Park, followed by From Farm to Table at Urban Farm, 180 Middlesex St., where a four course dinner made with local farm-fresh ingredients will be served from 6:30-9pm. The Supper Club Pop Up will be from 7-9pm, and lastly, Sips and Sweets ends the night at the UMass Innovation Hub, 110 Canal St. from 9:30-11pm.
The Farm Market on Sunday from 10-2pm will conclude the festival at Mill
5, 250 Jackson St. 4th Floor, by connecting you to local talented artisans
and growers, with lots of delicious food for sale.
Tickets for each event are on sale individually, but the All-in Ticket for $95 includes access to each event, and a special VIP area during Food Truck Madness and The Grand Tasting.
